Cloud computing

The significant increase in the amount of data and information being processed is driving the use of cloud-based solutions. This phenomenon, however, has resulted in an obligation for both those offering and wishing to implement cloud computing services in their organisations to comply with numerous legal regulations and soft laws.

ftl lawyers have successfully advised on numerous cloud computing projects, including services in connection with complex licensing proceedings provided to entities in the financial services market.

The ftl consultancy covers, in particular, the development of the required documentation, including contracts between cloud computing providers and entities using such solutions.

As part of our cloud computing consultancy, we offer our clients, inter alia:

  • preparation of risk assessments for compliance with the so-called Cloud Communication issued by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (including cross-border data transfers)
  • design of cloud computing service contracts
  • regulatory compliance audits of cloud computing solutions adopted in the client’s organisation.

We treat each client individually. The documentation we prepare is based on comprehensive understanding of both the processes taking place in our clients’ organisations or their services and the needs and expectations they have of the implementation of cloud computing solutions.

In view of the ongoing digital transformation, particularly in the area of cloud computing, members of the ftl team are constantly expanding their knowledge and developing their competences which they also share in the course of training courses and seminars.
