Insurance
We offer compliance and transactional support, as well as specialised handling of processes in the area of business insurance law. Our knowledge of both new technologies, regulations and insurance law enables us to offer effective advice in the implementation of insurance innovations. In our work, we provide a comprehensive approach taking into account not only business insurance regulations, but the entire body of the applicable law, including regulations on personal data protection, the provision of online services and consumer law, as well as regulations on anti-money laundering and counter financing of terrorism. In particular, we assist our clients in shaping new business models and distribution channels.
Implementations
We provide support in adapting the activities of insurance market entities to dynamic changes in legal regulations and in the launching of new products or processes. We also offer legal assistance in the implementation of solutions based on outsourcing services, including with the use of cloud computing, and advice on the regulatory aspects of anti-money laundering and counter financing of terrorism, professional secrecy and personal data protection. We develop our proposals for legal and regulatory solutions, with a view to both the basic aspect of compliance (ensuring compliance with the rules and recommendations of Polish and EU supervisory authorities) and, additionally, the opportunity aspect (benefiting from the opportunities created by regulations for business development). All solutions are proposed taking into account the business needs of clients and minimising risks.
Developing internal and external documentation
The ftl team provides support in drafting, auditing and negotiating contractual documentation used in relationships both with clients and service providers to the insurance market. ftl also offers comprehensive legal assistance in the development and audit of documentation and internal processes to ensure their compliance with legal regulations, guidelines of Polish and EU supervisory authorities, considering the specifics of a particular entity, its organisational structure and information flow within the organisation and the services it offers.
Litigation and administrative proceedings
ftl also offers to represent insurance institutions in judicial and administrative proceedings, related to both disputes arising between entities of this financial sector and their clients or entities working with them, as well as those resulting from actions of supervisory authorities.
