Mr Koellner is a graduate of the Jagiellonian University, Faculty of Law and Administration, member of the Cracow Bar Association. Lawyer recommended in the field of Personal Data Protection in the ranking of law firms of "Rzeczpospolita" daily (2021).
He specialises in intellectual property, new technology and data law. He has advised on numerous transactions in the VE/PE market. His scope of practice also includes handling alternative investment funds, both as regards transactional and regulatory issues, and advising in the areas of corporate disputes, unfair competition, consumer law and protection of personal rights. He has represented clients in numerous court and administrative proceedings.
His professional experience includes advising one of the leading incubators/technology funds supporting start-ups in Central and Eastern Europe, advising on foreign acquisitions carried out by a public company, providing comprehensive transactional and regulatory services to a real estate holding company, advising on numerous IT implementations and managing complex projects in the area of personal data protection, including a public company, top league (Ekstraklasa) clubs and technology companies providing services based on the processing of personal data.
Mr Koellner has authored numerous papers in academic and industry publications. He has appeared as a speaker at many conferences devoted, in particular, to the activities of alternative investment funds, personal data protection and the protection of business secrecy. He has conducted numerous training courses, both for public and private entities.
Between 2017 and 2019, he was head of intellectual property and new technology (IP/TMT) law practice at a renowned law firm.
